Account Deletion
We respect your right to delete your data. Here's how you can do it.
Delete from the App
You can permanently delete your account directly from within the GoalTown app:
- Open GoalTown and go to Profile
- Tap Account
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Enter your password and type "DELETE" to confirm
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed
Request via Email
If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to help@goaltown.app
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your tasks, session history, gold balance, purchased buildings, and city layout will be permanently deleted.
What Data Gets Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irrecoverably removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone)
- All tasks and timer session history
- Gold balance and transaction history
- All purchased buildings and city layout
- Notification preferences and device tokens
- Support tickets and messages
Retention Period
Data is retained for as long as your account is active. Once you request deletion, all personal data is irrecoverably deleted within 30 days.
